Cymbrose are a strange alien species that lives inside of the bizarre realm of ambrosia world. Their world used to be accessible by many different dimensional portals until a disaster caused them to be completely unusable. The last few remaining Cymbros will, either way, be your friend or your worst enemy.

Biology

Physical Traits

Cymbrose have wing ears that are used to glide across the vast height of their habitat. These wings are too small for flight but there is one subtype that can fly with them.

They have large hands and sometimes large forearms as well which helps with general strength in their limbs. They have three toes and the bottom of their feet is covered by a single large pawpad that helps with sensing the environment.

Cymbrose have fluffy hair when they are young but when they are adults their hair might transform nto whats known as living hair. Living hair moves on its own or it can also be controled by the cymbrose. Living hair is semi permenent, meaning that once they have it it doesnt change on its own unless it is cut. Cutting living hair snt painfull but it is an unpleasant sencation, after being cut it can be regrown in any way the Cymbrose wants.

Internal Biology

The Cymbrose heart is a crystal core that generates ichor blood which flows through their bodies. The ichor is very potent in magic, this allows them to heal almost instantly, but if they get severe injuries too many times in a short period it can cause their heart to get depleted which can cause weakness and other very unpleasant side effects. A cymbrose's emotional state can also have a major impact on their magic.

Hybrids Cymbrose can experince adverse health effects due to the conflicting types of blood created by their mixed cores.

Life cycle

Most Cymbrose are born in the Ambrosia springs, a heavenly sanctuary where the Ambrosian core is located. When a fragment of the core is placed in the holy fluids an egg is formed around it. After some time a baby will hatch from it. When the infnfant becoms older they are brought along with other children where they will be taught the way of life by their elders. The things they are tought depends on the culture they are from but eventually when they become adults they will be assimilated with the rest of society where they will find a purpose to furfil for the rest of their existance. The jobs that a Cymbrose can get are limmitless as they can travel to many dimentions via the portals where they can take various tasks.

Cymbrose are immortal and thus they cannot die from ageing especcialy in their home realm. If they leave their home realm they will slowly turn into stone du to their magic depleting over time. This prosses can also be accelerated if they use too much of their magic. The only way for Cymbrose to end their lives is by accension. To be eligible for assension a Cymbrose must become completely pure of heart, to obtain true purity they must be completely stable and they must be in a state of inner bliss. They must then complete various trials and challenges to prove that they are truly ready for assension. Once they accend their bodies will be turneed into energy that will pe sacrifised to be one with their realm and their core will become one with the Ambrosian core once more.

Other things

Cymbrose who have become statues can be revived if their core is placed into fluid from the ambrosian fluid, but the longer the symbro has been in that state the more memories they would have lost.

Every Cycle Cymbrose gatter to give part of their magic to replenich the ambrosian core. This consistent ritual causes some kind of ageing prosses in cimbrose. Those that dont partisipate are looked downupon as it is seen as a selfish act. some dcymbrose dont like having hybrids because they think ther mxed blood will "ruin" the ritual.

Cymbrose who fall into complete despair will get tainted by a dreadfull disease known as corruption. Corrupted Cymbrose will turn into dangerous monsters and they will spread misery to anyone who encounters them. It is not known if there is any cure to this curse. ne way Cymbrose have trie to combat this is be ambracing over positivity (also known as toxic positivity) into nearly everything they do. An unfortunate result of this is that any singn of unwelness or mental ilness is heavvly stigmatised against.

Diet and nutrition

Cymbrose teeth are straight and they have a surprisingly powerful bite which helps them with their omnivore diet. Cymbrose can eat litteraly anything but they prefer to eat regular organic food as it's easier to digest and it also gives them a higher moral which helps with a better mood.

Ambrose

The Ambrose are a subtype of Cymbnrose who have been enlightend with the magic of the Birdfolk species, as a result of their spliced magic essence they have also taken an appearance similar to them. Ambrose are the only cymbrosoe who can fly freely with the help of their wings. Ambrose are great elementalists but most specialise in wind elemental magic.

Bunbrose

Bunbrose are the most common but also ironically the most shy subtype of Cymbrose. They have long thin ears and short tails, they are very light and can jump very high. Bunbrose tend to have anxious tendencies which they manage by making their enviroments nice and pleasant to be in.

Cheembrose

Sylvybrosa also known as Cheembrose are a subtype well known for their healing properties. They are tell with slender bodies.

Cheembrose have a high level of empathy, which means they care deeply about everyone's well-being; they spend the most of their time ensuring that everyone and everything has a good time. While the high empathy trait can be beneficial, it can also be detrimental for the Cheembrose; if there is too much pain and suffering around them, it can send them into deep insanity; this is why they tend to create reclusive settlements away from others so that they can manage their own environment and be blissfully unaware of all the bad things going on outside their home... a lot of them feel guilty about this, but there isn't much they can do about it...

Echobrose

Echobrose are the aquatic subtype of Cymbrose, they have a survival of the fittest mentality and as a result they have very high expectations of everyone and everything. To be a part of the echobrosa is to be the best version of yourself at all times. If you fail to meet their expectations they can be verry judjemental towards you and they will not hide their dissapointment. The echobrose are not too fond of outsiders as they feel they will rui their operations which is why they built their city underwater so that hardly anyone can get there. they are the subtype who is the least afraid to fight back against enemies and predators.

Pyrobrose

Pyrobrse the fiery subtype of Cymbrose, they are chaotic and full of energy, unfortunatly no one really likes them due to their abrasiveness, but that's mostly because hey tend to be very passionate about the thigs they care about, much to the annoyance of others. Despite their small size thay are very fast runners. The Pyrobrose love warm temperatures, if the ambrosian realm wasnt so cold they would be evertywere

A rare powerful type that is thought to be extinct. Divinabrose are the original Cymbrose and are the closes to Ambrosia.

Enviroment and Habitat

Planet/Habitat

The original planet that the Cymbros inhabited has been completely destroyed, all what remains of it are the chunks of floating island in the Ambrosian pocket dimention. The Ambrosia world consists of many floating islands, Cymbrose use their wings to glide from island to island. Some subtypes are better adapted to gliding than others.

As stated in the lifecycle, the most important thing a cymbrose can do is gather resources to help restore their realm and possibly assend by reaching ultimate peace within themselves.

The idea that each Cymbrose's personality reflects a facet of Ambrosia is a very common belief since each Cymbrose's core is a piece of Ambrosia's heart. Every member within the population functions as a single body, just like cells do. This mentality has led to Cymbroses constant attempts to ensure that everyone functions as a perfect unit; any undesired or unpleasant behavior is seen with harsh criticism because they refuse to think that Ambrosia has any flaws. Some people think that this is unneeded because kindness and compassion can occasionally help others improve, but others think that there is a need for this severe judgment because bodies reject parts that contribute to additional problems within the collective.

The heart of ambrosia is the main thing that makes the existance of their realm possible. Each island also have major fragments of Ambrosia's heart. eacgh of these fragments powers the islands and allow them to float. Due to this very important use of the Ambrosian cores the Cymbrose use their own cores to provide energy to varous items powerd by magic.

History and Origins

Creation Myth

A long long time ago there was a mysterious cosmic being that fell onto a distant planet, it was said that it was the very first Cymbrose. It was greatly weakened by a mysterious enemy as it was slowly falling apart. The only thing that remained was its heart as it spewed tons of ichor from the core as it puddled into magic-filled oceans. From the fragments from the core came smaller similar beings that came up to the surface, they would be known as the very first cymbrose.

They explored their new home and established their own society that would soon become many as the different groups of cymbrose that set out with a piece of the core would birth new subtypes based on the different environments they were subjected to.

The cymbrose were powerful beings with their own established homeworld until the ancient enemy came to rid the universe of them one more time and obliterated the planet into pieces. The surviving cymbrose took up Ambrosia's heart to take whatever remained of the planet and teleported all of it into a pocket dimension where they would make their new homes. Due to the planet being destroyed the new lands were. now floating islands but the dimension was also highly unstable due to it being created in a rush.

The event had greatly weakened the ambrosian core, the cymbrose tried to sacrifice some of their magic to restore the core but they soon discovered that this practice was not going to be sustainable. With nothing left for them in their new unstable home, they started to create a huge network of portals to explore different dimensions in hopes of being able to find magical artifacts that could replenish their cores in hopes of fixing their new homeworld.
